    Job Description

    PCI Professional Services is seeking a Cost Analyst to support an upcoming contract in Colorado Springs. This role is fully onsite and reports to the Program Manager. Position is contingent upon contract award.
     
    Responsibilities:
    • Supports financial planning, cost control, and affordability analysis for complex mission-critical IT and engineering programs.
    • Develops and maintains cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and scenario models
    • Tracks actual performance against approved baselines
    • Analyzes variances, trends, and cost drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
    • Prepares and evaluates Earned Value Management metrics, including CPI and SPI, and translates findings into clear, actionable recommendations for program leadership.
    • Working closely with program management, engineering, logistics, contracts, and finance teams, the Cost Analyst assesses repair-versus-replacement decisions, resource needs, contract modifications, and other program tradeoffs.
    • Supports recurring financial reporting, validates data integrity, documents assumptions, and communicates cost impacts to stakeholders.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
    • At least five years of relevant experience
    • Must have and maintain an active DoD TS/SCI clearance
    • Strong Excel and quantitative-analysis skills
