Lead project cost development, evaluation, and reporting for gas turbine power generation projects during both proposal and project execution phases.

Partner with proposal, finance, project management, engineering, construction, and other cross-functional teams to develop accurate and competitive project costs.
\n
Manage project cost forecasts, estimates at completion (EAC), actual costs, percent complete, and cost-to-go projections.
\n
Identify cost risks and opportunities while supporting budget management, process improvements, and margin improvement initiatives.
\n
\n
Essential Responsibilities\n
\n
Lead preparation, integration, and optimization of project costs for proposals.
\n
Develop project cost summaries and present cost information to leadership.
\n
Lead accurate calculation and optimization of Estimates at Completion (EACs) using actual costs and project progress.
\n
Partner with Project Managers and Project Finance Managers to support budgets and financial reviews.
\n
Collaborate with functional teams to review and approve accurate EACs and maintain effective project cost-control practices.
\n
Regularly engage with functional owners across construction, site staffing, technical advisory services, project management, and other project functions to identify cost risks and opportunities.
\n
Track and communicate cost opportunities, risks, and progress across project teams.
\n
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
\n
Develop standard work documentation and best practices for project cost estimation and forecasting.
\n
Apply lessons learned from project execution to future proposals and margin improvement efforts.
\n

Qualifications / Requirements\n
\n
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or another relevant technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
\n
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, power plant design, cost estimating, cost engineering, or a related field.
\n
\n

Strong technical knowledge of gas turbine power plant systems, including plant-level design and costing.
