Overall Cost Control Analyst job descriptionKey Responsibilities•Budget Tracking: Establish cost baselines, monitor actual expenses versus budgets, and log commitments or accruals.•Scrap control an audit process: Validate the scraps generates and the cost impacts associated with that•Variance Analysis: Calculate cost deviations, identify unprofitable areas, and investigate budget overruns.•Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare monthly financial report, and performance metrics for management.•Change Control: Assess change orders and project scope shifts to update financial forecasts.•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, project managers, and vendors to negotiate pricing and optimize expenditures.•Follow up actions related to costs •Overtime control and approval process•Cost KPIs controlsQualifications & Skills•Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering.•Experience: 3 to 5+ years of cost management or project controls experience.•Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle. Industry bodies like AACE International provide professional guidance and standards for the role.•Core Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills to influence stakeholders
