The Cost Control Manager leads project cost management activities and maintains oversight of budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and trends.
This role provides financial visibility to client and PMC leadership and ensures cost performance is continuously monitored against approved project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project cost management activities, including budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasting, and cost performance reporting.
Monitor project performance against approved budgets, identifying trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
Develop and maintain estimate-at-completion (EAC), cash flow, and funding forecasts.
Support change management activities by evaluating cost impacts and maintaining budget alignment.
Provide cost analysis, forecasting insights, and performance reporting to client and PMC leadership.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure accurate cost collection, reporting, and forecasting.
Lead and develop the cost control team while promoting cost management best practices.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years of cost control, cost management, forecasting, or project controls experience supporting major capital projects.
