Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cost Controls Specialist in Austin, TX.

What to Expect: As a Cost Controls Specialist at Company, you will be playing a critical role in critical projects at client facilities in Austin, TX. You will understand cost drivers at the fundamental level while facilitating value engineering efforts cross functionally, enabling client to rapidly scale our manufacturing facilities at high speeds.

What you'll do:

• Cost Controls Specialist will develop and implement cost management programs, including budget control, cost tracking, and forecasting during project execution
• Employ a can-do and innovative attitude, taking the initiative to find ways for continuous improvement and growth of team
• Create reports and dashboards to communicate cost performance to various teams and management levels
• As a Cost Controls Specialist, you will manage change orders and ensure timely completion of project deliverables
• Develop cost reports and tools to inform decision-making, track project performance, and conduct ad-hoc cost studies to assess project viability
• Assist in developing project control processes, including change management, cost forecasting, risk management, and earned value, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
