Title: Cost Engineer
Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin (Onsite)
Job Summary

Seeking a Cost Engineer with 7 10 years of experience in product costing, should-cost analysis, and manufacturing processes. The role will support Engineering and Procurement teams by developing cost models, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and driving Design-to-Cost initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop should-cost models and cost targets for mechanical and electrical components.
• Apply DFM/DFA and VA/VE methodologies to optimize product costs.
• Perform cost analysis using CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and schematics.
• Conduct benchmarking, teardown studies, and supplier cost analysis.
• Support supplier negotiations with detailed cost reports.
• Track product costs and present savings opportunities to management.

Required Skills

• Should-Cost Analysis & Product Costing
• DFM/DFA, VA/VE, Target Costing
• aPriori, BDI, or similar costing tools
• Casting, Stamping, Machining, Injection Molding, Extrusion, PCBA
• BOM & Engineering Drawing Interpretation
• Creo / 3D CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• 7 10 years of relevant experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
