- Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and cost
- Develop should-cost models (piece + investment) using aPriori and other cost model solutions
- Support RFQ activities and supplier cost evaluations
- Track cost impacts from design changes
- Support negotiations with cost analysis
- Identify VA/VE and cost reduction opportunities
- Maintain cost tracking/reporting tools

- Cost engineering & manufacturing knowledge (injection molding, metal stamping and fabrication, thermoforming, assembly, etc.)
- Should-cost modeling experience
