Description:

Location: Sabine Pass, TX
Job Type: Contract - 12 month to start, likely extension
Work Schedule: 5/2 (8HRS/Day)
Salary (DOE): $47.00 - $47.00/hr.

 

The Cost Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive cost control, financial analysis, and accounting support for terminal operations and capital/maintenance activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of project and operational costs through detailed financial analysis, invoice processing, accrual management, forecasting, budgeting, and SAP S/4HANA transaction management.

The successful candidate will serve as a key business partner to Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and Finance by monitoring expenditures, analyzing cost performance, reconciling accounts, and ensuring financial data integrity throughout the procure-to-pay lifecycle. This position requires an experienced finance professional with advanced SAP S/4HANA knowledge and strong analytical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Client, oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial manufacturing, or large capital projects.
  • Experience with cost management for maintenance and turnaround activities.
  • Knowledge of project controls and capital project accounting.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools such as Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
