Overview:
We're hiring a COTA to join our dynamic rehab team at Arvin Post Acute, a Medicare-certified skilled nursing facility just outside Bakersfield. Help our residents regain independence and function through meaningful therapy work in a compassionate environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient treatments under licensed OT direction
- Accurately document care and progress
- Communicate with therapy and nursing staff
- Assist with caregiver training and discharge prep
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of treatment areas
- Participate in training and staff in-services
Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - California license
- CPR certified (or ability to obtain)
- Skilled nursing/rehab experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
