Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA
Location: Hanover, PA
Schedule: Per diem. 8-5 Mondays, possible coverage Tues & Thurs to support OT. There is a possibility for additional hours if willing to cover at Carlise / Camp Hill / Harrisburg.
Compensation: Starting at $25.hr, increase based on your experience.
Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient center in Hanover is seeking a licensed COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) to provide quality patient care. Responsibilities
----------------
Detail-Oriented:
Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals
Ensure proper documentation of patient care
Education:
Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks
Break down activities into achievable components
High Standard of Care:
Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies
Personalized Treatment:
Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients' functional abilities and skills
Qualifications
------------
- Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
- State COTA license (or license eligible)
- CPR certification
- Valid state driver's license
