Job Summary: The Student Food Helper provides essential operational support to the High School Nutrition Services team. This role is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of student meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. Under the guidance of the Kitchen Manager, the Student Helper performs a variety of tasks including food assembly, sanitation, inventory stocking, and basic cashiering. This position offers students an opportunity to gain professional experience in food safety, teamwork, and customer service within the school district.

Selection Procedure: The hiring supervisor will interview qualified candidates. After files have been reviewed and interviews have been conducted, the hiring supervisor, prior to submission of the rationale for employment, may consult with the Human Resources Director concerning the individual to be recommended for employment. This recommendation will be reviewed and approved by the Superintendent/designee.
