  • Support and Assist the camp instructors with daily lesson plans, projects and supervision of children.
  • Work closely with administrative staff to create, help develop, lead and implement programming and activities.
  • Prepare and actively participate in staff training and meetings.
  • Oversee various program activities and promote recreation and sports skills through fun, safe and diverse activities.
  • Be consistent with enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Make connections with campers and develop meaningful relationships.
  • Show enthusiasm and encourage campers to get involved in all camp activities while respecting the equipment, facilities, and personal property.
  • Be alert to campers and staff needs and assist with personal and/or health problems; discuss with the camp director and/or parents when appropriate.
  • Eat lunch with campers and ensure the eating area is clean.
  • Recognize and respond to problems as they arise.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • HS/GED.
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Available to work every day during the camp season beginning June 21 to August 19, 2022:
  • Session A: June 21 through July 22, 2022
  • Session B: July 25 through August 19, 2022
  • Session A & B: June 21 through August 19, 2022
