What You Will Do:
- Supporting the growth, independence, and safety of the individuals they serve.
- Providing care with respect, sensitivity and in a manner that preserves and protects client autonomy, dignity and rights.
- Overseeing and providing guidance and direct counseling.
- Overseeing the activities and services provided to individuals to ensure compliance.
- Developing individual treatment plans using knowledge of the range of addiction, dual diagnosis, medication assisted treatment issues, and aftercare planning, as well as the special needs, strengths and weaknesses of individuals served.
- Assisting individuals served toward individual needs regarding resolution of legal issues, medication compliance, and continuing care needs.
- Facilitating diverse psycho-educational groups for individuals served.
- Documenting comprehensive assessments regarding individuals served and their care in a timely fashion.
- Recognizing and reporting licensing, funding, safety, and maintenance concerns.
- Providing transportation, crisis intervention, and emergency services, when needed.
Counselors will grow through ongoing training and firsthand experience that will enhance their skills and provide additional employment opportunities.
At Behavioral Health Network’s Hope Center, we believe in the unique strengths, skills, and empowerment of the individual to motivate their treatment and recovery in our 30-day stabilization services.
Who You Are:
- Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration for individuals served.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (required); Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferred).
- At least 1-2 years of experience in human services.
- At least one year of experience working in substance treatment environment.
- Working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Addiction Services regulations.
- Ability to understand, empathize, and work with an addicted, dually-diagnosed and/or MAT maintained population (required).
- LADCI or LADCII or equivalent.
- Bilingual in Spanish & English (strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with Internet, word processing and email systems.
- Valid Driver’s License (required).
- Vehicle for use during all working hours should be registered and inspected in accordance w 540 CMR 4.00 (required).

Full Time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay Rate/Range:
$22.50/hr
