Become a part of Aliviane! Job Summary Responsible for managing a client caseload including screening and assessing for client needs, development of treatment plans, facilitating individual and group counseling sessions, documentation of client progress and participation, treatment plans reviews and discharging planning. Knowledge of substance use 12 core functions and able to perform and apply these as such. Works directly under the supervision of a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, Qualified Credentialed Counselor (LCDC-QCC).  Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conducts orientation to program and develops psychosocial history and treatment plans for clients within time frame specified in program level of service.Diagnose substance use disorders and determine level of care and eligibility.Maintains client files and documentation in accordance with organization, state, and federal rules. Facilitates psycho-educational and counseling individual, group, and family sessions to include substance use education, as assigned by supervisor. Participates in consultation with treatment team and other appropriate individuals or programs to accomplish treatment goals. Contributes input, as well as receives feedback in staff meetings and supervision sessions.Provides required documentation to utilization reviewers for coordination of client care. Completes and submits all discharges, referrals, and follow ups within time frame established by state and/or federal guidelines. Manages client behavior, crisis situations and applies conflict resolution skills to situations. Attends organizational training and continues to acquire Continuing Education (CE) hours. Understands, accepts, implements, and promotes Aliviane Inc. Mission Statement, program/department goals, philosophy and objectives. Serves as a role model for employees, clients, and community partners.  Required/Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma, GED, or Associate degree in Social Services, Human Relations, Social Science, Psychology, or related field from a university from a regionally accredited college/university preferred.Must be designated as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) Intern by the Texas Departmentof State Health Services. One to two years related experience and/or training preferred.
