Counselor - School Age Child Care

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking enthusiastic Counselors for our Before and/or After School Child Care programs at Maybeury Elementary School. Pay for this position is up to $16.00 per hour based on experience.

Duties:

Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with a group of school age children, and participating in group programs. Program hours are weekdays from 2-6pm.

Qualifications:

• Applicants should have a minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age is 18

The following certifications are highly desirable:

• CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group
• First Aid Certification
