Position Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused Counter Clerk to join our team in Madera, CA. This position is responsible for assisting customers at the front counter, processing orders, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional, friendly service.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, orders, and transactions.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Stock and organize merchandise and supplies.
• Keep the counter and work area clean and organized.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, cashier, retail, or counter sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Dependable with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
