We are seeking a counter associateto join the team at our high volume restaurant! As a counter associate, you are the forefront of customer service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our new and existing guests. Your role involves handling orders, managing transactions, and providing excellent service in a fast paced environment. If you’re friendly, hard-working, and interested in getting your foot in the door in the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in placing orders, providing menu information, and offer recommendations
- Communicate food orders to the kitchen staff
- Process orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point of sale system
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area, ensuring a visually appealing and welcoming environment
- Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Assist in occasional tasks, such as restocking supplies, cleaning, and supporting team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, counter associate, or similar position is preferred
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts
