About the Role:Pizza Gourmet Restaurant in Mamaroneck, NY is looking for a friendly and energetic FULL TIME - Counter Person/Cashier to join our team! Responsibilities:- Greet and assist customers at the counter with a positive, professional attitude
- Accurately take and process customer orders in a timely manner
- Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions using a POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized counter and front-of-house area
- Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff to ensure accuracy
- Assist with food packaging and order preparation as needed
- Address customer questions, concerns, and special requests efficiently
Requirements:- Prior experience in a restaurant, food service, or retail cashier role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays is a plus
