Job Summary:
The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales and ensuring an exceptional customer experience through daily store operations and product knowledge. This position combines warehouse operations and customer service, requiring candidates to assist dealers with orders, support receiving activities, and maintain organized inventory while promoting products and services.
This role requires a motivated individual who is comfortable working with computers, supporting order processing, and operating warehouse equipment such as a standing electric forklift. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail and warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service at the sales counter
Assist dealers with orders, product information, and order processing
Manage inventory and record incoming and outgoing shipments
Maintain store organization and ensure a professional store appearance
Support receiving operations and warehouse activities
Operate a standing electric forklift as required
Assist with administrative store tasks such as scheduling, ordering, and store opening/closing procedures
Promote products and services while supporting continued sales growth
Required Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Experience operating a standing electric forklift
Experience working in warehouse or inventory-based environments
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Customer service or retail sales experience
Experience assisting customers or dealers with product orders
Experience working with inventory systems or warehouse management systems
