 Only 1 Saturday per Month (8:00 AM–12:00 PM)

We're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our Norwell branch. Whether you have experience in counter sales, inside sales, plumbing supply, HVAC, construction materials, wholesale distribution, or retail sales, or you're mechanically inclined and eager to learn, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding service while helping contractors, homeowners, and business customers find the products they need.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with product selection, pricing, quotes, and order placement
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service and product knowledge
• Recommend additional products and identify upselling opportunities that add value for customers
• Work closely with Branch Management, Outside Sales Representatives, and manufacturer partners to support customer needs
• Pull, verify, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Help maintain organized inventory and stocked sales counters
• Collaborate with warehouse and branch teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Participate in ongoing product and industry training
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in counter sales, inside sales, customer service, wholesale distribution, or retail sales
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, construction, building materials, or mechanical products preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Positive attitude with a customer-first approach
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, organized, and motivated to learn
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
