Job Title: HVAC Counter Sales Representative

Location: Pompano Beach, FL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM + every other Saturday (7:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Compensation: (DOE) 

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Counter Sales Representative to join a well-established HVAC supply distributor in Pompano Beach. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role ideal for someone with prior HVAC supplier experience who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


Customer Service & Sales


  • Assist walk-in customers with HVAC parts, equipment, and supply needs
  • Provide accurate product information and technical guidance
  • Generate quotes, process orders, and handle returns
  • Upsell and recommend additional products based on customer needs


Order Processing & Operations


  • Accurately process transactions (cash, credit, account sales)
  • Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Maintain proper documentation for orders and inventory movement


Inventory & Product Support


  • Maintain strong knowledge of HVAC products and systems
  • Assist with receiving shipments and restocking as needed
  • Help customers locate items and recommend alternatives when necessary


Team Collaboration


  • Work closely with sales, warehouse, and purchasing teams
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient counter area


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2+ years of HVAC counter sales experience (supplier/distributor required)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC parts, systems, and equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using inventory or sales systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
