Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting our products, and ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing bakery and deli items

- Maintain a clean and organized counter and display area

- Operate cash register and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner

- Promote new and seasonal products to customers

- Restock and rotate products as needed

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous customer service or sales experience preferred

- Knowledge of bakery and deli products is a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions

- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
