Founded in 2013, Third Coast Distributing is part of a global service organization that distributes automotive and industrial replacement parts.Doing business as NAPA Auto Parts, TCD serves thousands of customers through an independent network across South and Central Texas.

About The Role:

Our Counter Salespeople are the key to our success, delivering excellent customer experiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Position reports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale, computer, and catalog systems.
• Assist customers by identifying parts and communicating product features, benefits, and warranty information.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-focused approach.
• Support team members by sharing product knowledge and assisting with customer inquiries.
• Maintain merchandising standards, promotional materials, and product displays.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe store environment, including sales floor, counter, and stock areas.

About You:       

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Minimum of 1 year of retail experience; automotive parts knowledge or experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, and product catalog systems in a retail or automotive environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
