Counterparty Onboarding Analyst

Overview

As a Counterparty Onboarding Analyst with Susquehanna, you will be joining a growing team that partners with stakeholders throughout the firm to ensure our counterparties and vendors are onboard in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines.

What you'll do:

• Serve as a key point of contact for counterparties and vendors throughout the onboarding process
• Conduct KYC/CDD and EDD reviews, including risk assessments, sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening across onboarding, event-driven, and periodic reviews
• Vet payment instructions for domestic and international wire transfers and EFTs across U.S. dollars and foreign currencies, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
• Escalate issues according to procedures while owning the resolution, and keeping management informed on progress
• Maintain accurate KYC records, support transaction-related inquiries, advise business stakeholders, and assist with process improvements, and other ad hoc projects

What we're looking for

• 1-3 years of experience within a financial institution, preferably in a KYC-related role, with strong analytical skills and stakeholder coordination experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion, with the self-motivation to work independently and take initiative
• Proficiency in Excel is required, and familiarity with Fenergo is preferred
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
