Hardee County is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and visionary leader to serve as its next County Manager. As the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead county operations, implement Board policy, and shape the future of a rapidly evolving rural community. Key Responsibilities
Administering Board policies, ordinances, and resolutions.
Leading county operations and organizational management.
Preparing and administering annual operating and capital budgets.
Supervising department directors and county personnel.
Building strong relationships with community stakeholders and regional partners.
The Ideal Candidate
Education: Bachelors degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative leadership.
Qualification Flexibility: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Skills: Strong financial management, political acumen, and a commitment to public service.
Knowledge: Understanding of Florida local government practices and budgeting.
