DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This entry level position supports families in their homes by helping them build skills for daily living and strengthen safe routines. The role works closely with caseworkers to provide direct assistance that improves overall family well-being and works toward positive goals and outcomes. As a County Social Services Aide 1, you will perform the following duties:

Assist clients/residents and their families with activities of daily living (such as family budgeting, marketing, housekeeping standards, personal health and hygiene, nutrition, food preparation and storage, care of clothing and use of resources), direct clients/residents in areas of childcare, and supervise interactions between children and parents per the caseworker.
