Job Description

Role Overview

The Coupa Consultant will be responsible for supporting, configuring, enhancing, and maintaining the Coupa procurement platform while working closely with business stakeholders and cross functional teams. The consultant will participate in project implementation, testing, go live, and hypercare support activities.

Key Responsibilities

Coupa Administration & Management

• Manage and support the Coupa platform in alignment with corporate procurement policies and business processes.
• Ensure smooth operation and ongoing maintenance of the system.

Configuration & Integration

• Configure and maintain Coupa settings.
• Manage financial approval workflows and approval chains.
• Maintain Chart of Accounts configurations.
• Support system integrations and enhancements.

Process Automation

• Design and implement automation features to improve procurement efficiency.
• Streamline procurement and accounts payable processes using Coupa functionalities.

Documentation & Training

• Create and maintain functional documentation.
• Develop documentation for:
  • New item setup
  • Forms
  • Catalogs
  • Coupa business processes
• Support user knowledge transfer and training activities.

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with:
  • Purchasing teams

  • Accounts Payable teams

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and product increment discussions.

Testing & Deployment Support

• Perform unit testing.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support production go live activities.
• Provide post go live hypercare support.
• Validate developed solutions against business requirements and standards.

Project Delivery

• Work with stakeholders to deliver assigned project tasks.
• Prepare comprehensive project and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Skills

• Strong expertise in Coupa Procurement and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience with Coupa configuration and administration.
• Knowledge of approval workflows and financial process design.
• Understanding of catalog management and supplier related processes.

Technical Skills

• Coupa configuration and support.
• System integration understanding.
• Documentation and process mapping.

Soft Skills

• Strong stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in Agile environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting Coupa implementations and enhancements.
• Experience with UAT, go live, and hypercare support.
• Exposure to procurement, purchasing, and accounts payable business processes.
