We are looking for a Court Business Center Associate to support daily courthouse business operations by managing print services, customer interactions, equipment coordination, and administrative tasks. This role requires strong customer service skills, technical troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to work effectively with court staff, judges, attorneys, and the public in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Print & Document Services
- Process print requests received via walk-up, email, and inter-office communications
- Handle both black-and-white and color print jobs
- Assist with scanning documents to email for staff, judges, and public customers
- Support walk-up counter services, including Pro Se packet requests
Customer Support & Communication
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally
- Provide support to the general public, courthouse staff, judges’ offices, and state/county/city agencies
- Coordinate equipment rental requests via phone, email, and walk-up interactions
- Collect rental fees from outside attorney offices
Copier & Printer Support
- Troubleshoot printer/copier issues including toner replacement, paper jams, and basic repairs
- Coordinate service calls and repairs with Konica Minolta
- Set up, move, configure, and install printers/copiers as needed
- Maintain toner cartridge inventory and printer repair supplies
- Package and return used toner cartridges for recycling
Administrative & Cash Handling Duties
- Maintain paper inventory and office supply stock
- Operate cash register and process cash transactions
- Prepare deposits accurately and securely
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to interpret and troubleshoot printer error messages
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to assess user needs and provide effective solutions
- Comfortable working with individuals with varying technical skill levels
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors, judiciary staff, vendors, and government agencies
- Knowledge of multifunction printer support and maintenance
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
