Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a Coverlay/Stiffener Application Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will plays a critical role in the fabrication of flexible printed circuit boards by preparing, aligning, tacking, and inspecting Kapton, SUS and FR4 stiffener materials into the finished or in-process flex circuits. 

• Prepare Coverlay and Stiffener materials according to job travelers and tack to finished or in-process flex circuits using microscope and ensuring proper adhesion, cleanliness, and registration by using a hand-held tacking iron.
• Operate the Quick Lam lamination equipment to apply stiffeners, and additional material layers according to process specifications.

• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Relevant work experience may be substituted for a degree.
• At least one (1) year of experience in PCB/FPCB manufacturing required.
• Must have excellent hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to use a microscope.
• Ability to read/follow reading technical drawings, travelers, and follow SOPs required.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work required.
• Must be detailed oriented and possess good problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry required.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality standards.
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally effectively communicate in the business language (English).

Pay may range $23.00 to $24.00 hourly

The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.

Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
