CPA / Staff Accountant

We are an established, small busy public accounting firm with 3 CPA's and various support staff. The small firm atmosphere creates a face to face personalized service offered to our clients. Seasonal highs create heavy workloads and high pressure situations. We handle a wide variety of client accounting including bookkeeping and payroll services, tax planning, all areas of tax preparation as well as family law litigation services. The staff is encouraged to work closely with one another as well as the CPA's and participate in various office activities.

The applicant will perform the following tasks (but not limited to):

• Bookkeeping & Write-up Services
• General Ledger and Financial Statement Preparation
• Workers Compensation Schedules
• Annual & Quarterly Payroll Tax Return Preparation and Review
• Annual 1099 Preparation
• Sales and Property Tax Returns
• Client Account Management
• Misc. Projects for Clientele

Ability to understand and create journal entries for posting to General Ledger and creation of Financial Statements A MUST. Previous CPA firm experience preferred.

The applicant should have 3-5 years experience and the capability of using computerized general ledger programs such as Creative Solutions Accounting, CBS, Accounting CS, Quickbooks, etc. as well as tax programs such as Lacerte. Excellent PC skills including WORD and EXCEL and Outlook are a must!

Applicant must be able to multi-task, meet time sensitive deadlines and productively turn out work. Applicant should be bright, professional and looking for long-term employment. Preferably applicant to live within 15-20 miles of office located in Upland. We are a fully NON-smoking firm.

We are a full service accounting firm in Upland California. We have clientele from a variety of local industries. We work closely with our clients and depend on our staff to provide top notch services. Our office hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday plus overtime if necessary.
