CPA Tax Manager

CPA Tax Manager - West Palm Beach, FL (Onsite)

Established, multi-office CPA firm seeks a hands-on Tax Manager to lead daily tax operations and supervise a small team. This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical expertise, leadership, and a self-directed work style.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review tax compliance for:
  • Corporations, partnerships, and individuals
  • Trusts and estates
• Oversee and mentor:
  • 2 Bookkeepers
  • 1 Staff Tax Accountant (potentially evolving team structure)
• Perform hands-on tax preparation and review
• Provide tax planning strategies for clients
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulations
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key advisor
• Work independently with minimal oversight in a collaborative, no-blame culture

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• 5-8+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online preferred
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Ability to work in-office daily (no remote/hybrid)

Compensation & Schedule:

• Salary: $125,000 - $140,000
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (onsite)
