We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to support end-to-end payroll operations for a multi-state workforce.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and payroll best practices.
This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, and employees to ensure timely and compliant payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule for multiple employee groups.
Review and validate timesheets, earnings, deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related data.
Audit and verify payroll data received from Workday and ensure accurate integration into ADP Workforce Now.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and leave of absence (LOA) transactions.
Process benefit catch-up deductions for employees returning from leave.
Input payroll data from timesheets, production records, or timecards into the payroll system.
Balance payroll runs and prepare federal, state, and local tax payments.
Ensure compliance with applicable payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and troubleshoot payroll-related issues in a timely manner.
Partner with HR and Finance to support payroll accuracy, reporting, and continuous process improvements.
Experience:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred.
2+ years of payroll processing experience in a corporate environment.
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data analysis).
Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday.
Familiarity with timekeeping systems such as Replicon or similar.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, payroll taxes, and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Skillsets:
Experience processing payroll for multiple employee groups or multi-state payrolls.
Knowledge of payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll reporting.
Experience with payroll interfaces between HRIS and payroll systems
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
