Brief Job Description:
This position provides administrative support or technical program assistance work to the Program Administrator and other managerial staff. Work involves disseminating information, maintaining filing systems, and performing internal administrative support work. May train others. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This position interacts routinely with DFPS staff including program administrators, program directors, supervisors, the regional director, representatives from various organizations and the general public.

Initial Selection Criteria:
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Three years full-time administrative support, general office, clerical, secretarial or Texas Department of Family and Protective Services experience.
Acceptable Substitutions: Thirty semester hours from an accredited college or university may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required experience
