    Objectives of this Role:
    • Maintain inventory of supplies and materials related to logistics and facilities work.
    • Assist with restocking and storage organization.
    • Respond to and complete tasks assigned via the help desk ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with project teams, facilities staff, and other internal stakeholders to support operational needs and project timelines.
    • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
    • Perform carpentry tasks in support of projects, including building, modifying, and repairing work areas, fixtures, and lab/office setups.
    • Support relocation and reconfiguration of lab and office spaces, including moving equipment, furniture, and materials, and ensuring proper layout and setup.
    • Assemble and disassemble office furniture and modular components as needed for moves, renovations, and new installations.
    • Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment safely to move, load, and unload supplies, equipment, and furnishings.
    • Conduct division supply runs, including picking up, delivering, and staging materials and equipment for projects and daily operations.
    Requirements:
    • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • 0-2 years: Use and proper handling of handheld power tools such as drills, hand saws, etc.
    • 0-2 years: Prior experience performing supply runs, staging materials for projects, and supporting day-to-day operational needs.
    • 0-2 years: Experience using ticketing, work order, or help desk systems to receive, track, and complete tasks.
    • 0-2 years: Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • A valid/clear driver's license is required.

    • Applied Physics-Developing advanced electronic and microelectronic devices, power supplies, voice and data communication systems, robot test services, and payloads
    • Applied Power-Using physical science research and applied engineering to produce sensors, instruments, and hardware used worldwide.
    • Center for Nuclear Waste Regulatory Analyses-Resolving technical and regulatory issues related to a potential geologic repository for spent nuclear fule and high-level radioactive waste.
    • Chemistry and Chemical Engineering-Performing research and technical services using chemistry and chemical engineering technology.
    • Defense and & Intelligence Solutions-Providing advanced direction finding and tracking systems through geolocation system development.
    • Fuels and Lubricants Research-Performing fuels and lubricants research activities to meet regulatory and competitive goals.
    • Intelligent Systems-Providing engineering services in resaerch and development of complex systems and equipment.
    • Mechanical Engineering-Improving safety, reliability, efficiency and life of new or existing mechanical components or systems.
    • Powertrain Engineering-Designing and developing vehicle and engine components to achieve performance and emissions goals.
    • Space Science & Engineering-Developing and managing advanced scientific payloads aboard satellites and sounding rockets.
