We are seeking a skilled and experienced Liebherr Crane Mechanic to join our Audubon team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of mechanical experience, with a strong preference for hands-on experience working with Liebherr LR and LTM cranes. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and inspecting cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Liebherr cranes and related equipment
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement effective solutions
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and electrical components
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
Perform safety checks and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs
Help coordinate with operations and supervisors to schedule maintenance and repairs
Respond to field service calls as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of mechanic experience (heavy equipment or crane experience required)
Direct experience working with Liebherr LR and LTM cranes preferred
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
Proficient in reading technical manuals and schematics
Valid driver's license with good MVR
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Capable of working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Preferred Certifications
OEM training or certification on Liebherr equipment
NCCCO or other crane-related certifications (a plus)
Work Environment
Field-based work and very little shop work
Will require travel to job sites
Exposure to noise, grease, and heavy machinery
