Job Summary Operate dragline/lattice boom crawler, usually on a bridge construction jobsite. Travel from jobsite to jobsite in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas or Missouri. Work Monday to Friday, and some weekends, usually 40-50 hours. Overnight stays may be required at the company's expense. Essential Functions Attend work as scheduled Get along with others Follow company handbooks and other instructions Use and care for tools, equipment and materials Read and understand equipment manuals Use math skills to calculate the load/capacity to prevent overload Additional Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and disassemble equipment at the job site Inspect and maintain equipment to prevent malfunctions or damage, fill out reports documenting both Determine the suitability of the supporting ground and surface for loads Operate the crane skillfully and safely in conformance with OSHA regulations Use a drag bucket, clam bucket, vibratory driver and extractor, auger, frostball Lift rebar, lumber, beams, concrete and other items associated with bridge construction Drive piling, using a variety of devices (drop or diesel hammer) Apply safe shut-down and securing procedures Read and understand Safety Data Sheets and container labels Identify and communicate safety concerns to management in a timely manner Operate other equipment and perform other duties as assigned PI3e0db8ed1262-25448-400683255c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
