Location: Detroit/Hamtramck Area
Pay: $30+/hour to start, based on experience

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator to operate a boom truck / mobile hydraulic crane in the Detroit/Hamtramck area.

The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience operating boom trucks and mobile hydraulic cranes and be comfortable safely handling lifts and materials in a variety of jobsite environments.

Pay & Schedule

• $30+/hour to start, based on experience and qualifications
• 1st shift
• Overtime available
• Full-time position
• Consistent work in the Detroit/Hamtramck area

Requirements

• Prior crane operating experience is required
• Experience operating boom trucks and/or mobile hydraulic cranes
• Ability to safely operate crane equipment and perform lifts
• Strong understanding of proper rigging, load handling, and jobsite safety
• Ability to inspect equipment and identify potential safety issues
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with ground personnel
• Must be able to work safely in a team environment
• Valid driver's license required
• Applicable crane/operator certifications or credentials are a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely operate boom truck and mobile hydraulic crane equipment
• Perform lifting and material-handling operations according to jobsite requirements
• Inspect crane and related equipment before operation
• Properly position and set up equipment for safe lifting
• Follow load charts, operating procedures, and safety requirements
• Work with riggers, laborers, and other crew members to safely complete lifts
• Maintain awareness of jobsite conditions and potential hazards
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow all applicable OSHA, DOT, and company safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
