Now hiring for a Crane Operator

Location: Jonesboro, AR

$18.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 4:30 PM - 1:30 AM | Saturdays as needed

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of recent crane operation experience required
  • Experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Safely operate overhead cranes to move raw materials, equipment, and finished products throughout the facility
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, production lines, and storage areas
  • Conduct daily crane inspections to ensure equipment is operating properly
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Communicate effectively with production teams and supervisors during material movement
  • Assist in other departments as needed, including production support and general labor tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work overtime as needed to support production demands

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
  • Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
  • Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Crane Operator.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.

What You Will Do

As a Crane Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.
