Olive Recruiting is searching for a Crane Operator for our client in the Washington DC metropolitan area. This role is responsible for operating mobile hydraulic cranes and/or lattice boom cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. Responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and following direction from site supervision.

Responsibilities:
Operates mobile hydraulic cranes (all-terrain, rough-terrain, hydraulic truck, boom truck) and/or lattice boom cranes (crawler and truck-mounted), with a Class A or B CDL.
Drive cranes to job sites, set up equipment, and ensure proper use of cribbing/matting per manufacturer guidelines.
Follow direction from riggers and site supervision to perform load movements safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on crane equipment.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
Ensure the safety of crane operations, including proper barricading of counterweight tail swing radius.
Operate equipment using verbal or hand signals, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Assist in crane mobilization and demobilization, including assembly and disassembly tasks.
Maintain accurate job tickets for client acceptance and billing.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
Successful completion of all required OSHA and industry-specific certifications.
Strong endurance and ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions.
Compliance with all OSHA, company, and project safety requirements.
Ability to safely operate cranes with a high degree of competence and alertness.
