Location In-person in Las Vegas, NV, 89109: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required). Responsibilities - Supervise the operation of assigned craps tables to ensure game integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor dealers for accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established procedures.
- Verify payouts, collect losing wagers, and resolve game discrepancies.
- Ensure all chips, cash transactions, and fills/credits are handled accurately and according to company procedures.
- Maintain game security by identifying irregularities, suspicious activity, or potential cheating.
- Rate players accurately using the casino's player tracking system.
- Maintain an efficient game pace by ensuring hands are dealt promptly, minimizing unnecessary delays, and balancing speed with accuracy, game security, and exceptional guest service.
- Provide outstanding guest service while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Answer guest questions regarding game rules and casino procedures.
- Assist with training and mentoring new dealers as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with Floor Supervisors, Surveillance, Security, and other departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional gaming environment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills / Experience - Minimum of two (2) years of experience dealing craps in a casino environment preferred.
- Previous Boxman experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of craps rules, procedures, payouts, and casino operations.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to calculate payouts quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to game protection.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have, or can obtain, a Nevada gaming license.
Physical Requirements - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the casino and property.
- Ability to work in a casino environment with moderate noise and exposure to secondhand smoke where permitted by law.
- Ability to reach, bend, and handle gaming chips and equipment.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to inspect chips, paperwork, and game layouts.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as necessary.
