Production / Woodshop Associate – Case & Crate Assembly

Location: Newark, CA

Pay: $22–$27 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 3:30pm-11:00pm

We are seeking a dependable Production / Woodshop Associate to support case and crate building operations in a woodshop environment. This role involves hands-on assembly, foam assembly, material handling, and quality inspections while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Responsibilities include: building wooden cases and crates per drawings and specifications; performing foam assembly and material handling; checking work throughout the build process to ensure quality and conformance; maintaining housekeeping and safety standards in the woodshop area; using and maintaining tools and equipment properly; reporting any equipment, tool, or safety issues to the supervisor; working collaboratively as part of a production team; demonstrating the ability to learn quickly and adapt in a loosely structured environment; and performing other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications: ability to read and follow basic drawings or instructions; strong attention to detail and quality; willingness to learn; ability to work independently and as part of a team; prior experience in woodshop, manufacturing, or assembly environments preferred; ability to perform physical work, including lifting and material handling.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production setting with consistent weekday hours.
