Create the visual and written language for a city focused design brand.
About Us
We are a product design company with a small team, focused on transit systems and cities. Our flagship product, Metroboard, is a walnut and aluminum art piece that shows live train movement through the city.
We are especially rooted in New York, where most of our community and customers are, but the work is about cities broadly. We focus on form through function and the curiosity, recognition, and wonder of seeing something familiar reframed.
Role overview
This is a multidisciplinary creative role spanning design, photography, videography, and communication.
You will help shape how the brand looks, writes, and feels across physical and digital media. You will support product photography, videography, graphic design systems, newsletters, and lightweight product storytelling.
This role is ideal for someone with strong taste who wants to build range quickly across multiple creative domains.
What you will do
You will assist with product and lifestyle photography direction and execution.
You will create graphics, layouts, and visual assets for social and web.
You will help develop packaging concepts and brand systems.
You will contribute to the product design of upcoming products.
You will write and edit copy for campaigns, product pages, and newsletters.
You will help build and send email and SMS campaigns, including re-engaging a large existing email list.
You will support creative direction during shoots, especially for NYC-based lifestyle photography.
What we are looking for
Strong visual taste and design sensitivity
Comfort working across design, writing, and visual media
Ability to work fast without over-reliance on structure
Interest in objects, cities, infrastructure, and physical design
Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, or similar
Strong editorial instincts for tone and clarity
