Creative Marketing Assistant

Position Overview

The Creative Marketing Assistant provides hands-on creative and production support to the Vice President of Marketing across Engaged Education and its affiliated brands. This role is designed to assist with the execution of ongoing marketing initiatives, particularly video editing, content capture, graphic design, animation, and other creative projects. The Creative Marketing Assistant will work from established concepts, priorities, and creative direction while helping move projects from idea to finished deliverable. The position is highly collaborative and ideal for someone with a creative background who enjoys bringing ideas to life, learning different brands, and supporting a wide variety of projects.

Primary Responsibilities

Editing & Content Capture

• Assist with editing short-form and long-form video content from provided footage and creative direction.
• Assist with Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, event recaps, testimonials, educational content, and other video projects.
• Create alternate cuts and sizes for different social platforms. • Assist with minor filming or content capture when needed.
• Organize footage and creative assets for efficient production.

Creative & Design Support

• Assist in creating social graphics, promotional materials, presentations, flyers, digital assets, and other marketing collateral.
• Execute established creative concepts and campaigns. • Resize, revise, and repurpose existing creative assets.
• Help maintain visual consistency across brands.
• Assist with miscellaneous creative projects as needs arise.

Animation & Motion Graphics

• Utilize animation skills where appropriate to enhance marketing and educational content.
• Assist with motion graphics, animated social content, explainers, promotional pieces, and other visual storytelling opportunities.
• Collaborate on ways animation can bring additional creativity to Engaged Education's brands.

Marketing Support

• Support the Vice President of Marketing with day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives.
• Assist with preparing content and creative assets for social media.
• Help execute campaigns, launches, events, partnerships, outreach initiatives, and other marketing projects.
• Make revisions and updates to existing materials as needed.
• Provide additional creative and marketing support as priorities evolve.

Brands Supported

The position may provide creative support across the Engaged Education family of brands and initiatives, based on current Marketing Department priorities.

Ideal Background

A background in digital media, video production, graphic design, or another creative discipline would be particularly valuable. Experience with video editing, animation, motion graphics, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms is beneficial. Completion of the Dale Carnegie Course is required. Most importantly, the ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, organized, receptive to direction and feedback, and excited to help bring a wide range of ideas to life.

Purpose of the Position

The goal of this position is to expand the Marketing Department's creative production capacity by providing dedicated support for the execution of day-to-day creative work.

Work Schedule

This position will have a regular schedule of 28 hours per week. Additional work hours may be required from time to time, based on the needs of Engaged Education, it's affiliated brands, clients and customer needs. While work may be remote, some days will onsite will be required, along with some nights and weekends.

Compensation

Annual salary of $30,000
