Surface Experts of San Francisco North is hiring a tech to focus on our growing low-impact bathtub and sink refinishing business, in addition to apprenticing to learn many of our spot repair techniques to support the broader business.
We DONOT spray refinishing glaze. Our roll-on method minimizes the impact to the unit, resident and the technician.
Responsibilities include preparing tubs (light cleaning, removing old caulking, sanding away flaking glaze, masking) applying glaze, re-caulking, and leaving the space better than we found it. Most tubs take between and 2.5 and 3 hours to complete.

Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently - driving to job locations, meeting with property maintenance teams, and performing work.
- Some experience in services/trades
- Strong English language speaker
- Comfortable wearing a respirator mask for extended periods
- Attention to detail and service minded
- Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs, and kneel.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with your hands (professional or hobby) including maintenance, construction, artists, trades, restoration, and home projects.
- Experience working in facilities maintenance is a big plus.
