General Description: The Creative Services and Broadcasting Coordinator role is responsible for supporting the overall University sports information department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primary Duties: - Oversee William Woods University athletics broadcasts in conjunction with the Heart of America Conference, the NAIA, and other University partners. - Create social media content - Photography - Home game management - Creating student centric content highlighting success, on and off the playing field. Secondary Duties: - Maintaining Athletic Statistics - Editing the Athletic website - Press Releases - Other duties as assigned Position Requirements: - Previous experience in sports information is preferred. - BA in Journalism, Communications, Graphic Arts, Sports Management, or some other related field. - Experience on or around sports teams, as well as statistical record keeping. - Strong skills or background in web pages. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Self-motivated to exceed expectations, with the ability to motivate others to do likewise. Typical Physical Demands: · Ability to climb several flights of stairs several times each day. · Ability to lift, push or pull up to 20 pounds. · Ability to sit or stand for long periods. · Ability to speak and read English fluently. · Ability to hear. · Ability to travel. · Must possess a valid Missouri driver's license and adhere to the WWU vehicle policy. Work Schedule: - This is an exempt position requiring 40+ hours per week, and a 12-month position with evening and weekend work as needed.
