The Position:

The Creative Specialist is responsible for developing and executing high-quality, brand-aligned marketing assets that support Merit’s growth initiatives across advisor marketing, client engagement, and business development. This role blends design, content creation, and production coordination to ensure marketing strategies are brought to life efficiently and effectively.

This role will work closely with the Creative Director and Integrated Marketing team to concept, create, and deliver assets across digital, print, and event channels. In addition to design execution, you will contribute to content development and play a key role in moving projects through production—from initial concept through final delivery.

Responsibilities:

Creative C Content Development

  • Design and develop high-quality marketing assets across digital and print formats, including email, social media, website graphics, presentations, and collateral.
  • Contribute to content creation, including drafting copy for emails, social posts, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Translate marketing strategy and campaign objectives into compelling visual and written content.
  • Ensure all creative and content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and visual identity.

Production C Execution Management

  • Own the production process for assigned projects, ensuring assets move efficiently from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate timelines, revisions, and approvals to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure all deliverables are accurate, on-brand, and production-ready.
  • Campaign C Marketing Support
  • Partner with Integrated Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Digital teams to execute campaigns across B2B, B2C, and internal communications initiatives.
  • Develop and adapt creative and content for multi-channel campaigns, ensuring consistency across platforms.
  • Support key initiatives including website updates, marketing automation campaigns, and sales enablement materials.
  • Assist in building scalable templates and repeatable campaign assets. Advisor C Regional Marketing Support:
  • Create and customize marketing materials for advisors and regional teams, including presentations, one-pagers, event materials, and client communications.
  • Develop both the visual design and supporting content for advisor-facing materials.
  • Ensure materials are brand-compliant, easy to use, and adaptable for local market needs.
  • Support advisor and client events through development of invitations, signage, and presentation assets.

Brand Consistency Quality Control

  • Uphold and reinforce Merit’s brand standards across all creative and content deliverables.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all audiences, including clients, prospects, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and refine materials for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve templates, workflows, and production processes. Collaboration C Workflow Management:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Respond to feedback and revisions efficiently and professionally.
  • Contribute to improving creative and production workflows to increase team efficiency and output.

Compensation: Merit Financial Advisors offers competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, location, and market data. Where required by applicable law, salary ranges will be provided during the hiring process.




Requirements:

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, design, or content production (in-house or agency)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both visual design and content/copywriting capabilities
  • Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), Canva Pro, and presentation tools (PowerPoint)
  • Experience writing marketing copy across formats (email, social, presentations, web)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  •  Experience in financial services or a professional services environment is a plus
