About Us
We're building the AI-native workspace (think the new AI-native Slack). We had a
big launch on socials, and now we're looking for someone who can scale it and build a following for PromptQL the way great creators build one for themselves.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be a one-person creator studio – not just making the content, but posting it, growing it, and chasing whatever's next in new media. You'll have the budget to use AI tools to move faster and go bigger. Responsibilities will include:
- Owning our short-form content across every platform, from idea to post.
- Shooting and editing. Turning founder talks, product demos, and behind-the-scenes moments into videos people watch to the end.
- Bringing motion graphics and a real point of view, not just clean cuts.
- Owning posting and scheduling across all our channels, with a cadence that fits each platform.
- Growing our following and engagement, chasing whatever's new in new media (clips, podcast cuts, trends, formats) and turning it into growth.
- Tracking what's working and using it to steer what we make next.
- Directing production support for high-volume output, leaning on AI to do more with less.
- Building the PromptQL story and the founder voice into something people follow.
About You
We care about proof, not pedigree. This role is wide open to:
- People early in their careers, including first jobs.
- College creators looking for a part-time gig in SF.
- Freelancers and contractors who want to own a brand's content.
- Full-timers who want to build something from the ground up.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated success building an online following, for yourself, someone else, or a brand (any platform, show us the numbers).
- Real skills across shooting, editing, and motion graphics.
- A feel for high-velocity growth. You know what makes something spread fast to the right audience, and you love the game of it.
- A storyteller's instinct for compelling hooks and pacing.
If you've grown a real following anywhere (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.) and you can shoot, edit, and do motion graphics, we want to talk. The rest we can figure out together.
Location
- SF Bay Area: hybrid in-office 3 days per week
- Relocation assistance available for highly-qualified candidates

Compensation
- $75 to $90 per hour depending on experience
- Equity depending on employment type
