Credential Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credential Specialist with experience in HIPAA regulations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and verifying the credentials of our healthcare providers and ensuring compliance with all HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and maintain the credentials of our healthcare providers, including licenses, certifications, and training records
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and guidelines
• Manage the credentialing process for new providers, including coordinating with third-party vendors as necessary
• Respond to inquiries from providers, patients, and insurance companies regarding provider credentials and compliance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider credentialing data in our database
• Generate reports and conduct audits to ensure compliance with credentialing policies and procedures
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the credentialing process to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing, with a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with credentialing software preferred
