The Clinical Informatics (CI) Trainer is responsible for ensuring that we are providing comprehensive, relevant, sometimes complex education to new and existing clinical teammates. The CI Trainer uses evidence-based, adult learning theory principles. Training is provided through synchronous and asynchronous methods and includes computer-based training, trainer facilitated interactive virtual workshops, on-site training, and virtual instructor-led training. The trainer is responsible for continuously evaluating the effectiveness of training, and works with operational, clinical informatics and training teammates to suggest enhancements to not only the training material, but also to the underlying workflows that may need optimization.
