Position Title: Credentialing Coordinator
Location: The Dalles, OR 97058
Duration: 13 Weeks
Work Schedule: Day Shift/5 8's
Pay range: $40-$45

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate provider credentialing and recredentialing processes for physicians and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Verify licenses, certifications, education, training, work history, and malpractice insurance through primary source verification.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider credentialing files and databases.
  • Process provider enrollment and revalidation applications with insurance payers and healthcare networks.
  • Monitor expiration dates for licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, and malpractice coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, payer, and organizational credentialing requirements.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in medical staff in an acute care/hospital setting and familiar with Joint commission standards. Must have CPCS/CPMSM. Preferably onsite with experience in Oregon standards.
  • Five years' relevant experience: Preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience: Preferred
  • Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS): Required
